Happy Holidays everyone!  As mellow as my Christmas was, it was also surprisingly busy.  I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner with some family friends.  It was very quiet, which I enjoyed.  At the same time, I felt like I had hardly any time to do things with my friends.  I received some beautiful presents and some fun presents (it ranged from We're the Millers on dvd to a Barbie to a faux fur jacket, I'll try to post pics later).

The pictures above are from Christmas Eve. I'm wearing:
Lauren Conrad blouse, Rolla Coaster blue velvet skirt, C Label cat loafers, Rimmel London Retro Glam mascara, tokidoki felt tip eyeliner, and smashbox lip gloss.

Happy New Year guys!  I'll definitely do a new years day (maybe day after) post!

So Much Snow...

Wearing: Leather jacket (Mudd), boyfriend tee (Primark), A-line midi skirt (vintage), Converse, necklace (Target), belt (JC Penny), lipstick (MAC Red).

I've been meaning to update this forever, but with the mix of lots going because of the holidays and so, so much snow I just haven't had time to take pictures.  But finally I had enough time to take some pictures.  When I picked out this outfit, it was supposed to be the warmest day of the week (a whopping 35 degrees F), but instead it snowed a good five-ish inches.  Great.  I decided to just bear the cold and go for a skirt.  I decided to go for a sort of 1940s/50s inspiration when I picked out the skirt and the jacket.  But I also wanted to update it.  I did that with my accessories.  I really loved the retro vibe of this look.  I made a bit of a mistake when I picked out the Converse.  Let me just say that non-waterproof shoes + five inches of snow = very cold, wet feet.

Right now it's only December.  Normally snow last through February and often times March.  I hope I don't bore you too much of my winter outfits!  However it was negative 20 degrees F (!!!) a week and a half ago so I had to break out my thick Columbia jacket and snow boots, so there are many more winter outfits to come.

In case I don't post again before then, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
