Sometimes I forget how differently I dress from the other girls at my school. When I wore this today, it seemed like everyone noticed it. I received compliments on how unique my sense of style is. Of course I appreciate all of the compliments, I just find it interesting what girls in my school find completely different from what they wear. I think it's because the girls' "uniform" at my school, especially during the winter, is yoga pants/leggings/jeans, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, and Uggs. So once someone differs from the norm they all notice it. Because I wore pants that were neither a legging or a jean, I immediately stood out from the rest of the girls.
I don't know, maybe I'm just rambling. I just really liked this menswear combination. I only thing I wish is that the pants were high-waisted. That would be the icing on the cake. I think the key to any menswear look would be tailoring. No, you don't have to find a professional tailor to personally tailor all of your clothes, but instead of wearing long, flowy, boho inspired clothes, go for something with a nice crisp edge. Maybe something with a pleat. That's my tip for the perfect menswear style.
