First, I would like to say how happy I am that my computer is back from the shop!  As of right now, it's working!
So about two weeks ago, it was prom.  I was originally going to wear a dress that I purchased last year, the infamous Fame & Partners dress (you can read my review about it here), but there ended up being a lot more fit issues than I remember (such as side boob, weird breast cups, and boning that created unflattering bunching to name a few problems).  Because of those facts, I ultimately decided to get a new dress at the last minute.  This dress fit me perfectly, well other that the few inches at the bottom that my mom chopped off because it was too long.  Other than that it was perfect.
To go with my dress, I order a dazzling pair of heeled sandals from Boohoo.  Last year, I didn't break in my heels properly which resulted in scars on my ankles.  I did not want to deal with that again, so I definitely wanted a more comfortable pair this year.  I was able to wear these all night, making me incredibly happy.
I wanted to do a completely different hair and makeup look this year from last year.  I've recently become obsessed with Downton Abbey, so I decided that I wanted Edith hair, otherwise known as 'Marcel Waves.'  My mom was kind enough to do it for me as I completely clueless when it comes to anything regarding hair (also I'm not going to pay some ridiculous amount to get my hair done professionally).  Last year for makeup, I wore gold eyeliner and deep red lipstick.  I pretty much did the opposite this year by doing a more elaborate eye with bronze-y eyeshadow and a nude/pink lipstick.
Before I end I would just like to say, aren't my friend gorgeous?  I thought Christina looked like a model for a Roberto Cavalli runway while Mariquita was the perfect ethereal goddess.  We all had a great time, and it was perfect way to mark the end of our senior year!
