Is the title of this post a bit too cliché? Yeah, I agree, but what else can you call this post on the day of the eclipse?? I wasn't really planning on posting anything today, but I decided to share my ootd. I went to Yellowstone this past weekend where I picked up this top; I love the nod to the 1970s in its design and typography because the last eclipse that crossed the US like this one was in 1979. I've really been feeling the 1970s lately from everything from clothing to music (Goodbye Yellow Brick Road anyone??). Don't be surprised if you see more retro inspired outfits coming up.
I wish I had taken some better pictures of the eclipse, but where I was watching it there wasn't 100% totality (it was 92% which is still pretty good), so none of my pictures really turned out. I'm so glad that I was able to witness it. Hopefully I'll find my way to seeing another one in however-many years.
