A Beret A Day

Is it too cliché to wear a beret in Paris?  Possibly.  But considering that berets are a) a French staple and b) very on trend this season, I had to bring one.  This trend is something I've really got on board with, as this is actually my second beret purchase of the season.  I paired this beret with my two-tone jeans and my bell sleeved blouse, trying my best to keep outfit simple.  The Parisians really know how to make simple look oh-so chic.  I remember sometime last year I saw a French woman around my age wearing some two-tone jeans, and I immediately fell in love with them.  I went on an embarrassingly long hunt for a pair - this was the third pair that was purchased.  I encountered a number of issues, including price, length, and button-flys (which I personally can't stand); eventually I found this lovely pair from Monki which fit me perfectly, wasn't too pricey, and had a zip fly.  I didn't realize how much I took the zip-fly for granted until I couldn't find them.  I now wear these jeans all the time, and frankly I'm surprised that this is the first time that they've made an appearance on here.

This will probably be my last post before Christmas, so I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!  I hope you get everything on your Zara wishlist! ;)
