This was our first day in Paris. We took an early Eurostar train there, meaning I had a 4:00 am wake up call. I was dead tired, but I also knew that I had to make the most of the opportunity of being in Paris! I've been really lucky that I've been able to go to this city multiple times, but just because I've been here before doesn't mean I want to experience it any less... however I may need an early night. ;)
When I'm traveling, I tend to be like most people and want to be comfortable. Who really wants to spend a two and a half hour train ride with tights digging into you? At the same time, I personally don't want to be arriving in Paris, the fashion capital of the world, in leggings and a sweatshirt. These black jeans I've just been living in recently; since they're not skinny jeans, I feel like my legs have lots of room to breath, and as they're high waisted I don't have that constant feeling that my pants are falling down. I paired them with a soft and warm pastel pink jumper I recently picked up on clearance from H&M for only £7!! For shoes I wore my Converse, where I unfortunately learned that they're quite as comfortable as I remember (next time I'll bring my Adidas instead). This H&M belt is another thing I can't stop wearing. Accessories are hard for me; I tend to forget about jewelry, so belts are one of the few accessories that I really love and always remember to wear. It's a simple way to help elevate any look.
