Hello all!  This past week was London Fashion Week; as a student, it can be tricky to get into shows. One's best bet would be to intern for a designer or show space, but this season I was lucky that my uni was able to get my course in to see the Steven Tai presentation.  I have plenty of photos from the presentation that I can't wait to show you, but I took so many that I thought that I would start by showing you my look from the day.
My birthday was a few weeks ago (the big 21 - whoop, whoop!), so I decided to treat myself to this beautiful Zara coat.  I had been eyeing it for about a month, but with its £130 price tag, I found myself having a hard time pulling the trigger.  Eventually my birthday arrived, and I decided I just had to have it!  Low and behold, when I arrived at Zara it was 50% off!  I like to think that Zara knew that it was my birthday, but I think this just was the last part of their winter stock.  With my unexpected savings from the coat, I went into full 'treat yo' self' mode and stopped into Bershka where I grabbed these cool boots.  It's hard to tell in these photos, but the boots don't have a tongue, so you can see the socks that I'm wearing.  Of course, on that day I decided to wear the most boring black socks that matched the color of the boots.
I decided that going to a LFW presentation would be the best place to show off my new beauties.  As it's still cold here in London, this coat is constantly on my body; with it's long length, it almost feels like a cocoon.  I thought it would be fun to do some pattern mixing, and paired the plaid coat with my blue and white striped top, which also added a nice pop of color.  With my favorite black jeans and my new boots, finally I threw on my itsy-bitsy cross-body bag that a received for Christmas.  This tiny bag trend is something I've seen all over Instagram, but wow is it hard to fit anything inside there.  Just trying to get my phone and keys in it was a challenge, hence why I'm also carrying a tote.

Before I go, did anyone else see the Anya Hindmarch 'Love Hearts' around London?  They went up on Valentine's Day and stuck around through the rest of LFW.  My friend and I saw this one by the Ritz, and we were able to get a cute photo by it!  I'd love to know where around the city people saw them! :)

P.S. I fiiiinally got my hair cut and recolored!  What do you think?
