Galentine's

How many times have you heard that term today?  Galentine.  I know; it's rather over-used, but I - like many others - am flying solo today.  Valentine's used to be one of my favorite holidays when I was younger.  My class in elementary school would always have a Valentine's Day party, where for an hour or so, we wouldn't have to do any work, and we'd all give each other Littlest Pet Shop or Harry Potter themed cards.  Plus any holiday where eating chocolate is a main priority is alright in my book.  These days, the whole thing just seems so commercialized.  That being said, I can never say no to discounted chocolate (we all know the February 15th is the real holiday) and an excuse to wear pink and red.

These photos are my left-over Seattle photos from last month.  My mom and I spent the day down by the water, watching the ferries, and eating too much again.  However, the pink I was wearing ages ago seemed perfect to post today.  I haven't really been one to wear tons of color, but that's something I'm trying to introduce more into my wardrobe this year.  I once again pair my outfit with this coat; though it is water proof, it's not the warmest thing so I haven't been wearing it as often as I expected as it's still chilly here in London.

It was also my birthday last week, so I have a few new pieces that I've received and can't wait to share on here.  I really need to get out and shoot some more content; if only it hadn't been raining so much!

  1. I never really paid much attention to Valentines Day. I did enjoy it in elementary. We would decorate tissue boxes and gift each other cards to put in our boxes. It was so cute! Lovely post!

    1. Thanks! Yes, that's exactly what we would use to do! Miss those days, sometimes. :)
