Better late than never, right?  Way back in February, a little thing called London Fashion Week took over the city.  This time last year I had an internship, where I was able to watch everything going on from behind the scenes.  It was an incredible experience that I'll never forget, but this year I thought I would try to see it from a different perspective.  Venturing to the Topshop show space in Covent Garden, I patiently waited outside the Molly Goddard show with two cameras and my Lana del Rey collection.  If you enjoy people watching, I would highly recommend doing something like this at least once in your life; the various people you'll see is amazing, and it's fun to try and spot who's the real deal and who's just a 'poser.'  I was able to see some really cool fashion insiders though; I've been following Susie Lau (aka Susie Bubble) for ages now, so when I saw her I was so excited I nearly dropped my camera.  Some other exciting spots (who I didn't get pictures of) were Derek Blasberg and Suzy Menkes.  I didn't have the courage to speak to anyone that day, but looking back I wish I had.  I tried to name everyone who I recognized underneath the photos, but if you see anyone who I didn't name, please let me know so I can add it!  The second camera that I brought with me was an old film camera, and some of the pictures actually turned out pretty well; would you be interested if I posted them?

The photos in the second half of this post are from Fashion Scout.  Fashion Scout runs during the same time as LFW, but allows more up and coming designers to present rather than more established ones.  The crowds don't tend to be as well known as the show-goers to LFW, but their street style can be just as good.  Below are a few of my favourites.

Again, sorry I'm so late to post these photos.  Uni has been really busy lately, and the weather has been even crazier (Snow in London?  In March?!), but I think in a few weeks I'll have more time to dedicate to this again.

Elizabeth xx
