A NICCE Day

 Wearing:
Top - NICCE* | Jeans - Boohoo | Sneakers - Converse

Hello again!  I hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend!  This London weather lately has been superb.  I spent my Monday at the Barbican Conservatory admiring the beautiful plants that it has to offer.  The conservatory, which is only open a few days a month, houses dozens of colourful tropical plants that would be hard to find elsewhere within London.  That day my friend Conor and I unfortunately only had time to visit the conservatory, but the Barbican area is filled with interesting galleries and museums.  My personal favourite is the Museum of London – which I find to be criminally underrated amongst other London museums – because of its vast collection of clothing through the centuries.

Dressing for the day, I knew that I wanted to be cool and comfortable.  The weather, as previously mentioned, has been beautiful lately, but you never know when the city will be hit with its notorious rain.  I was kindly gifted this sweatshirt by brand NICCE, and I knew that it would be the perfect layer to wear on a day out.  It worked out incredibly well as it turned out because despite the recent hot weather, that day it was surprisingly windy and chilly.  NICCE has recently released a number of new women’s hoodies which are perfect whether you’re at the gym or enjoying a lazy day at home.  I was pleasantly surprised by how cosy my new sweatshirt is, as the inside is made from such a soft material and the oversized fit gives you the feeling that you’re wearing your boyfriend’s hoodie.  I would definitely recommend going a size down from what you would normally get because of the oversized fit, unless of course, you love incredibly oversized things!
With this top being mostly white, I decided to keep the rest of the look relatively simple by pairing it with my black jeans and Converse.  However, at the last minute I decided to add a red lip and pull my hair back.  If you’re a regular reader here, you’ll know that I hardly ever pull back my hair, but with the combination of the warmth from the day and the high neck on the sweatshirt I thought that it would be a fun change of look that shows off the black collar of the top.  I have to say, I am kinda liking my hair pulled back – maybe I’ll start wearing it this way more?

Thanks again to the kind team at NICCE.  You can shop all their women’s hoodies here.
