Good Evening

 Wearing:
Jumpsuit - Warehouse | Sneakers - Adidas | Bag - Clarks

Who doesn't love a good jumpsuit?  I've been a fan for a while now, with my first jumpsuit purchase being in high school.  I had this one teacher back then, who I wasn't on *great* terms with.  Luckily we started getting on better the next year, but the year I had her as a fashion teacher I don't think either of us cared for each other.  What does this have to do with jumpsuits?  Well, there was this one day where she made a remark about how she hated jumpsuits, and how she'd never seen anyone look good in one.  That's when I knew I had to have one.  As soon as I received the simple black jumpsuit, I wore it to class where I received many compliments on it.  I'm not normally someone to do or buy things out of spite, but that day it felt oh so good.
I waited a while before purchasing my next jumpsuit.  They're a tricky piece of clothing.  Not only is getting the fit right often a challenge, but getting in and out of one can sometimes require two people. Back in April I was doing some early summer wardrobe shopping when I spotted this one on the Warehouse website.  I loved the 1970s cut of it, and the material seemed perfect for the season ahead.  The best part is that since the buttons are in the front, it's easy to get in and out of it (although you still have to get nearly naked when going to the bathroom, but hey, you really can't get around that with jumpsuits).  I brought it with me to Copenhagen where it was the perfect piece for a summer holiday.  It's a complete outfit all on its own, and it didn't take up too much room in my suitcase.  Can it really get much better than that when traveling?

I think that jumpsuits are really going to have their moment this summer.  In fact, I have another one on the way.  Are you on board with this trend?  Or are you ready to leave it behind in the '80s?  Let me know in the comments!
