College Road Trip: Ellensburg, WA

Wearing:
Shirt - Target, Shorts - American Apparel, Cardigan - Target, Sandals - Prabal Gurung for Target, Bucket Bag - asos

A rather short, final post for my college road trip series.  The last college I visited on this trip was Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA.  I thought the campus was very nice and the woman in charge of the fashion department was also very nice and knowledgeable.  The fashion program also seemed to be quite nice (I am now realizing that I am saying everything is "nice").  On the other hand, the town of Ellensburg is extremely small, even smaller than where I live now.  Even though the town is about an hour away from Seattle, I just don't see myself being very happy if I lived there.  I want to get out of my small town, not move to a smaller one.

The day I toured the campus was incredibly hot.  So I opted to wear sandals for a change.  That turned out to be a mistake.  I forgot that I had never really worn these before, and the fact that they are a half size smaller than I normally wear.  So by the end of the tour, my feet were killing me.  I ended up going back to my hotel in the middle of the day to change shoes.  However I did wear the same outfit the whole day.  Since it was so hot, I wore one of my favorite pairs of American Apparel high waisted shorts, a black and grey striped shirt, and a red cardigan tied around my waist (just in case it turned chilly).  When I arrived at the tour, they gave everyone name badges to wear and some other goody items.  After the tour, my mom and I stopped by the campus book store to pick up some school supplies (ugh, school already?).

Now I'm back home.  My haul post for this trip is on the way!
