Ever since I first moved to the UK, I've loved traveling to all the different towns and cities across the country. I travelled to a number of different areas my first year (Exeter, Cornwall, Cambridge), but last year I felt that I really slacked in my local travels. Because I'm now in my final year of uni, I'm making a point to visit as many places as I can; back in October I saw Oxford, but this month I finally made it to Bath! Bath has been on my list of places to see since I first arrived. The historic city is synonymous with Jane Austen, tea, and Ancient Rome. In addition to those reasons to visit, I also heard that Bath is home to one of the best fashion museums in the country! I'll make a city guide in the coming days, but the city did not disappoint!
These photos were taken in one of the most iconic areas of bath: The Circus. You've probably seen it in films - especially anything remotely Jane Austen related - but The Circus is a historic street of townhouses that forms a circle. It's a great area for a perfect photo opp - even when it's raining!
So stay tuned, I have some more Bath posts coming up soon including my mini guide to the city!
