After a lot of hard work, I was finally able to purchase the coveted JW Anderson bag... just kidding. I am no where near a point in my life where I can afford any designer handbag. It's hard seeing everyone else's blogs and instagrams with their beautiful designer items; just the other day I was reading a post about why buying a designer belt is a good investment. I would love a designer belt (if someone wants to gift me that infamous Gucci one, I would be v appreciative), but I literally do not have the money to buy one. Lusting after so many designer things, it makes finding a good dupe even better.
I was at Target the other day when I spotted this beauty. Clearly inspired by the JW Anderson Pierce bag, I couldn't help but chuckle when I saw it. I knew immediately that I wanted it but decided to play the waiting game. I find that playing this game with Target can be very tricky, as things often sell out before it reaches any kind of sale. Luckily, waiting paid off, as when I went back a few days later it was on clearance for $20! I nearly screamed from excitement. The matte black bag goes with everything in my wardrobe, and the silver ring is perfect as I've always been more of a silver girl. Ever since buying it, I've hardly been able to put it down since its size is also great for holding everything (and more) that I need.
Maybe one day I'll finally get that JW Anderson bag, but for now I'm still in love with my Target dupe.
