Shirt - H&M | Skirt - H&M | Shoes - DSW

Montana may be known for its skiing, but don't underestimate it during the summer.  Summer is when all of the tourists pass by.  I recently started a new job in town, and since starting there I've met so many people not just from around the country but from around the world.  From the US, I've met people everywhere from Mississippi to California, and outside the US I've met people from Australia,  Germany, the UK, and more.  Living not terribly far from Yellowstone, having this many tourists isn't surprising.  Growing up here, I never really understood the appeal.  Why would people travel so far just to come here?  It took me living so far away to finally get it.  Don't get me wrong: London is still my favorite place on earth (and I'm still low-key counting down the days until I get to go back), but I finally understand its beauty.

Next week (or so) I'm hoping to head down to Yellowstone.  Once I go back to London in the fall, I'm not sure how often I'll be able to get back here.  I've been to Yellowstone dozens of times throughout my life, but I feel like this time I'll be able to appreciate it just a bit more.

Anyway, I hope you like these photos.  These flowers were absolutely gorgeous, but I should have listened to my mom and worn pants instead of a skirt.  I had to dodge many, many bees, and luckily, I wasn't stung, but my legs were a bit itchy the next day from all of the plants they touched (my legs are wimps lol).
